    It’s a great recipe, my only suggestion would be reducing the quantity of
    turmeric for the quantity of rice used in this recipe you wouldn’t need
    more than 1/8th of a spoon of turmeric. In Indian cooking turmeric is added
    primarily for its natural antiseptic properties and seldom for color. One
    additional point to note is turmeric needs to be cooked/fried until the raw
    flavor is gone else it ruins the intended taste of dishes and always a
    little goes a long way with this spice.
