+spoonerdee I TOTALLY AGREE. I see all these devilled egg videos and think
that with all these crazy ingredients how can you not lose the taste of the
egg itself? I make mine with a bit of mayo, salt, a dash dry mustard and a
pinch of dried dill. They are super mild and people are always raving about
how good they are thinking they must be hard to make! My hubby was nervous
to make them one holiday until I told him what I put in it.. he was
shocked! I do make other versions of devilled eggs like Cinco de Mayo eggs
with jalapeno and bacon, curried eggs with masala seasonings and game day
eggs with blue cheese and hot sauce. All different types but relatively
simple in terms of ingredients. I watched a potato salad recipe on here
once where the woman added (to egg and potato) lemon mayo, yellow mustard,
pimentos, dill pickles, bacon, celery, fresh parsley, a horrifying amount
of garlic powder, cumin (I think), tons of salt (which was crazy
considering the pickles and pimentos!), a ton of pepper and finished it off
with half a large block of cheddar cheese cut in 1″ cubes. I was horrified!
Can’t even call it potato salad at that point! Then she went on to say that
her mom and other family like to add black olives to the recipe!! :S
I would use Best Foods (brand) mayonnaise.
Delicious! You can use a small Ziplock bag to fill the yolks, clip one end
and Squeeze, hence no spoon. Dash of apple cider inegar, and garnish with
red pepper flakes.
I will try the hot sauce. I place on spinach, kale or lettuce leaves to
stop the sliding around. thank you.
Okay, now I am really hungry.
hot sauce, yum, ill have to try that!!!!
Sorry, Tiffani, but you’re missing a whole lot of ingredients and adding
others that don’t seem to meld. I’ve been making deviled eggs for over 40
years, a true southern style. Yours is something I’ve never seen before,
but I say keep playing with your food and experiment. Much peace to you.
You lost me at the mayonaise. It has to be Hellmans’s sorry.

I use the colorful relish!
I think ill keep the hot sauce relish and pimentos out of mine. Hot sauce
is for buffalo wings, pimentos are for olives and relish goes on hotdogs.
Nice serving tray tho!
My mom makes it the same but no pimentos or hot sauce but the relish is
relish in it
oooo that looks gud i just might try that i hav neva had deviled eggs
before. qq: why is it called deviled eggs
my moms name is tiffany anderson. she spells hers with a y instead of an i
tho idk why I’m telling you this…
I saw some clips of people making deviled eggs, and I was like….
Yummiez… me wants 2!!!!! and I went downstairs to ask my mother if I
could make them for christmas and she said yes *yaayys* Now I was
wondering, paprika powder… one can put it on top right? But does it taste
good? Thanks for the clip!
Brilliant Video! I love that you speeded up the mundane scenes! You’re a no
nonsense type of gal. Definitely gonna try this one! Marry me?
