Here is another delicious slow cooker recipe for you to try.

This is the recipe I use to make enchilada sauce: http://www.recipegirl.com/2006/05/01/enchilada-sauce/ *I used half of this recipe in the soup and half to make enchiladas.

That would be a perfect use of the leftover chicken :). Thanks!

UH OH….lol I poured all the enchilada sauce in my soup. Oh well…I don’t
think it will hurt. The crockpot is going!

I made shredded chicken taco’s last night and have seasoned chicken left
over. I was thinking of making this with my left overs. Looks yummy!

  6. How Jen Does It

I’ve been wanting to make a roast soon. Sounds good!

  9. How Jen Does It

Yay! You could use half of the sauce in the soup and half to make
enchiladas later in the week :).

I’ve made a habit of using my slow cooker on Sundays as a result of your
suggestions and it’s really helped with our Sunday night “rush” to get
everybody ready for school, work and work-related travel. Such a simple and
genius idea. Please keep these coming…they are GOLD.

  13. How Jen Does It

Thanks! I agree with you about the kitchen scissors.

After the cooking ….I decided to put it on the stove to simmer for a
little while. I do this often with crockpot soups etc….because I find
that it makes it even better. It is absolutely delicious and I will
definitely be making it again and again. Thank you so much for sharing this
    recipe with us.

Hi Jen! I just made this soup tonight for dinner, and it was delicious! The
best part too a that my whole family liked it…which is unusual here in
our house. Thanks for sharing this recipe. We also have enjoyed the
Hungarian ghoulash and rice meatballs. Looking forward to some more of your
    great recipes, and grocery hauls!!

I used my crockpot last week for a roast and plan on using it this week for
    a hash brown side dish
