Slow Cooker BBQ Ribs – RECIPE

This post may contain affiliate links.

Barbecue pork ribs, so good, but do we all have the time and a smoker to make them. I sure don’t. I do have a slow cooker and a few minutes to get them ready. Just pop them in the slow cooker and head to work. When you come home you just spend an extra 10 minutes and you have some delicious BBQ ribs for you and the family.

+Frode Helland Johansen – Just turn on the broiler on your oven. Most go
to a very high temp (500F/260C). Just for a few minutes, 2-5minutes. Just
    to caramelized the bbq sauce.

Ever think about baking them first ? Then a few hours in the crock pot …
Boiled meat comes out kinda mushy and gross … Baked meat will have more
of the texture of smoked meat and then the crock pot would get u the
tenderness ur looking for … Then back in the broiler with sauce … Kinda
like the 3 2 1 method of smoking ribs … Just in side

Making these now. I may have put too much Coke in the Crock Pot. I should
have left room for the fat coming off the ribs. Oh well…we’ll see! LOL

Add more brown sugar? OMG don’t you think that’s enough?

Why did you choose not sear the ribs under a broiler first? Also, could I
go 50/50 with cola and my homemade bbq sauce? Cheers.
