Quiche Lorraine

Food Ingredients:
1 pre-made pie shell 1 tablespoon butter cut into small pieces 12 rashers bacon, cooked well 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss or Gruyere cheese 4 s eggs 2 cups cream 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

Recipe preparation:
1 Heat oven to 425 degrees. Place pre-made pie shell into quiche dish or use disposable pie pan. 2 When pie shell is defrosted, sprinkle cheese on bottom of shell and then crush bacon and sprinkle on top of cheese. 3 Beat eggs slightly and add remaining ingredients into egg and mix slightly again. Pour mixture over cheese and bacon. 4 Bake for 15 minutes, reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees and add butter pieces and bake for 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted comes out clean.
