Tasted these dumplings last summer at a resort run by a German family, they were AMAZING! These make a really nice side dish if you are tired of the same old rice and potatoes.
Practised saying Spaetzle many times before posting this, I hope I came close 🙂

hmmm wonderful!
Thank you! Yum!!!
It’s so fun watching people across the globe making traditional german food
and it’s even more fun if they like it ;)
Nice comfort food for an autumn meal :)
That’s what’s up.
Pork Schnitzel with Sour Cream Dill Sauce & German Spaetzle Dumplings recipe

@Hellzap0ppin He has been baking and cooking with me for as long as I can
remember (even if it was only to hold a wooden spoon and bang it on some
pots, lol). I am committed to making him self sufficient in the kitchen, so
when he is on his own he will know how to cook something other than package
mac and cheese 🙂
@yoyomax12 sounds easy ^_^
Do you have a job in culinary or baking or decorating? Seen all ur vids and
there all good.
Your pronunciation is very good ! “Spätzle” is the most common
pronunciation, but it differs a lot regionally. Spatzel is limited to
Bavaria 🙂 Spätzli, Knepfli, Chnöpfli, Nockerl all possible across Germany,
Switzerland and Austria.
My mom makes this all the time!
@yoyomax12 hi yoyomax could you pleeaaasssee make “the legend of zelda”
cupcakes? it’s my favorite video game of all time i used to play it A LOT .
Love your videos!Thanks -Chiara
@OrangeSunshynEmbrace are you a german grown up in the us? because i’m
german. grown up in germany and we had schnitzel as children very often. 😀
but you’re right, you could have sauerkraut with that.
Made these for dinner today! So yummy, especially the sauce- my dad ate it
with a spoon!
instead of adding the flour into the stock. add the flour 1st to the oil
that is left in the pan and cook it about 60 ~ 90 seconds to take the raw
edge off the flour and make hot roux, then add your cold stock. no chance
to make any lumps. Cant wait to try this I have never had it before, looks
yummy.
I am a new subscriber of just a couple weeks. Will you adopt me? All your
videos are fantastic!
@yoyomax12 you did really well on the “ä” and that’s the hard part that
most non-german speaking pepole get wrong!
Oh, and how I think you pronounce Spaeztle is Spaht-zel. That’s how we’ve
always said it, and the recipe has been in the family for a long time! 🙂
I don’t even like pork, but I’m obviously going to watch this video
anyways!!!
That looks so good 🙂
The Kässpätzle sounds intriguing! I will look that up 🙂
