Poppy Seed Chicken
Food Ingredients:
4 inches boneless, skinless chicken breasts diced and cooked a pan until white and done 2 cans of Cream of Chicken soup 2 cups Sour Cream 1 tablespoon Poppy seads 1 sleeve of Ritz Crackers 1/4 cup butter
Recipe preparation:
1 Combine all ingredients in pan and let bubble for a minute or two 2 Place this in a 9*13″pan 3 Crush 1 sleeve of Ritz Crackers (and sorry folks, it just doesn’t taste right without the real Ritz crackers or something buttery and rich like it–Club crackers or Toll HOuse would work too). 4 Pour crushed crackers over top of the chicken mixture. 5 Melt 1/4 c butter and pour over the crushed crackers. 6 Cook at 350 for about 25 minutes or until bubbly. 7 Serve over rice. 8 It tastes divine with green peas and a fresh salad. A fresh loaf of french bread is delightful too.
