Pineapple Sheera – Indian Dessert – Quick And Easy Recipe By Teamwork Food
Ingredient
1/4 cup clarified butter
1/2 cup semolina
1/2 cup pineapple pulp
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup sugar
few strands of saffron
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
chopped almonds
Method
– heat ghee (clarified butter) in a pan, add semolina and cook it for 2-3 minutes or till light pink in color
– add pineapple puree or pulp, mix well and cook it for 1-2 minutes
– add warm water and mix well, stirring continually while cooking
– add sugar and mix well till sugar dissolves, stirring continually
– add saffron strands soaked in warm milk, chopped pineapple, cardamom powder and chopped almond and mix well.
