that’s true, however the texture of frying the sking first then simmer in
broth is different than just simmering it in broth and the skin will be
very flacid/rubbery. so the initial frying gives it a different taste and
texture.
I’ve been cooking chicken thighs in a manner similar to this for a while
now; my only qualms are that if you simmer the chicken in broth or whatever
liquid, the skin that was once made crispy during the frying process
becomes soggy, which seems to make the whole idea of pan frying it in the
first place a moot point.
Fuck, I’ve forgotten all about Emeril, I almost exclusively watch Gordon
Ramsay and Jamie Oliver. Used to love Emeril as a kid. I’m going to have to
look up more of his videos.
Not a big fan of Emerial anymore….but he is still one of the legends in
my time and I love this recipe!! Got some chicken thighs at home…and gon’
whip this up! Nice!
Yeah emeril was the reason i started watching the food network, but he’s
never on so i watch good eats when i can since alton does a good job
Did this station go out of business or is just me when it comes to Directv
wish this channel was still available. TV sucks in today’s times no wonder
I’m doing film collecting same goes with the theaters wouldn’t really care
for most of the movies they put out unless there some smaller theaters.
This was diffidently a great channel when it came to being green and eating
healthy.
i got to stop licking the screen when there is food
I used to watch this guys all the time on Food Network 😀 he loves doing
the BAM! BAM! lol he also do advertisement for Colgate I think…
toothbrush toothpaste stuff
I love Emeril. He is the chef that got me hooked on Food Network even
before ‘Good Eats’ came out. Emeril can make simplest dish taste like a
million bucks. It’s about skill and also taste and passion with him.
