Mason Jar Salads | Diet Tips & Tricks

If you guys are bored of chicken and broccoli, but still want to achieve clean healthy living, boy do we have a video for you! A friend introduced us to an incredible idea that we want to share with you… AND 4 great recipes and homemade dressings to go with it!!! This has been, hands down… one of our favorite things we have adapted into our lives! Not only has it made our lives easier but more delicious as well!

Barbecue Chicken Salad
– Shredded chicken with Stubbs BBQ sauce
– Cucumbers, tomatoes, black beans, corn, cheese (optional)
– Romaine lettuce

Dressing: Greek yogurt mixed with a packet of ranch dressing and 1/3 cup milk (of any kind) to make into the consistency of dressing. Blend well! Enjoy.

Greek Chicken Salad
– Shredded chicken
– Cucumbers, tomatoes, kalamata olives, feta cheese
– Romaine lettuce

Dressing: 4 Tbsp. lemon juice, 4 Tbsp. red wine vinegar, 1 tsp. oregano, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/4 garlic powder or garlic clove, 1/4 cup Olive oil, 1/4 cup fat free chicken broth. Mix, Enjoy.

Turkey Strawberry Salad
– Turkey (or shredded turkey)
– Strawberries, feta cheese, slivered almonds (or walnuts)
– Spinach

Dressing: 1/2 pound fresh strawberries, 2 Tbsp Honey, 2 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 Tbsp Olive Oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. black pepper.

Turkey Sunflower Cranberry
– Turkey
– Cranberries, sunflower seeds, shredded mozzarella
– Spring mix

We use the same dressing on this as we do for the Strawberry Salad!

    by poking hole in to the jar,, don’t do that your wasting lids, just used
    one of the vacuum bag sealer,with a jar air vacuum. that’s also good too.
    but yeah, thanks for sharing your video.

    Ok so you put the tape on the hole before you suck the air out? how does
    that work? would the tape not block the air from being pulled out? off to
    watch video again maybe I just heard it wrong….salads all look damn
    delish tho 🙂 yum yum
