If I wanted to make black ganache could I add some black AmeriColor gel? At
what point would I add it? Also, I have never used ganache. How do I ice a
cake with it? Is it just like using buttercream frosting? Thank you!

I live in New Zealand and I have never seen anything labelled “whipping
cream” in a supermarket or thickened cream. I assume double cream is fine
to use instead and better than single cream?! also for the milk chocolate
thing I prefer milk chocolate but am just wondering how strong and dark
chocolatey does the dark chocolate ganache taste? or does it become less
strong when mixed with the cream etc?

Its not grains those are air bubbles! 4 minutes to melt choclate is a lot
and you should do one minute for a start and then 30 sec for each time be
careful not to burb it ;)
