Lemon Maple Squash

Food Ingredients:
4 pounds Butternut Squash Pure Maple Syrup Water 1/4 cup Lemon Juice 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes 4 tablespoons Butter Brown Sugar (optional) of salt and pepper

Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat over at 350º. 2 Slice squash into thick wedges removing all of the seeds. 3 Place the squash cut side up in a baking dish 4 Combine syrup, water, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper and pour over squash. 5 Place in butter in top of the squash and sprinkle with brown sugar. 6 Bake at 350º for 20 minutes and turn squash to one side. Baste and bake for another 20 minutes then turn to the other side and baste again. Bake for another 25 minutes until the squash is tender.
