( votes)This is a dish that packs a serious punch from arghan oil, tangy preserved lemons and citrusy sumac! They’re 3 ingredients that were new to Ben when he visited the spice market of Morocco and they’re incredible!

It doesn’t get much more personal for Ben than mint and Morocco! 😀
My first holiday out of the US, was over to the UK this past September. It
was actually some of the best food i’ve had in ages. Forget what people
say about British food, its far from the truth. I had my first Indian meal
at a small all vegetarian place ion Drummond St, London, (as well as a
perfect pizza with a handful of fresh basil on top) typical British pub
fare up in the Peak District, and down to the local curry shop in
Cambridgeshire….i tried a bit of everything, and although i’ve tried over
and over to recreate the dishes, its never been just as good. I’ll gladly
give up the beach, palm tress, sand, sun and seafood for all things
British, and i will when i move there in 2015. :)
Ben, the Moroccan girl who broke your heart…
She’s the one who gifted you with Tyrone, isn’t she?
where is yr “new chef’s jacket”?
I love how the Barry, Mike and Jamie at least tried to be cool in their
‘Made Personals’ episodes
Would Ben ever want to come to Singapore so we can feed him with plenty of
durians and he can bring back the merlion? :D
in arabic KosKos is a type of rice but the word koss alone literately means
pu**y =P
Guys we do not cook tajin at the oven
I don’t know how to say this without sounding too “girlish”… There’s a
lot of talent on foodtube, but you guys are the best. There’s just a way
about how the videos are edited, your presence in front of the camera and
the clarity of the instructions, and of course, the recipes… keep it
going! To top it off, as a Canadian, everything sounds better with a
British accent!
I have not travelled much, but the best thing I had was a lemonade from
Capri’s Island. Lemons the size of oranges and so tart… Delicious!
Ben is the perfect guy who is smart, loves the outdoor, solves the rubik’s
cube in 5 mins, cooks, travels, plants, photographs, juggles, and a mint
fanatic. What more can you ask?
Mike is such a babe
That is the most saffron I have ever seen in one place! You must have
robbed a bank to buy it or I need to become a youtube chef!
BEN IS HUSBAND MATERIAL AND IT REALLY UPSETS ME
I plan to do the same as Ben has done, travel round the world learning to
cook with different ingredients from different cultures
