We’re making this elegant gluten-free savory galette from scratch in this detailed online cooking class. Follow along as we show you how to dominate a GF pie crust and assemble some simple ingredients into an exquisite piece of culinary art.
Gluten-Free Pie Dough
3 tbsp buttermilk
1 egg
1 tsp salt
½ cup rice flour
4 tbsp cornstarch
4 tbsp tapioca flour
½ tsp xantham gum
12 tablespoons butter (very cold)
1. Whisk together the buttermilk, egg and salt. Set aside.
2. Combine the rice flour, cornstarch, tapioca flour and xantham gum in a large bowl. Cut the butter into medium dice (3/8” X 3/8”). Then cut the butter into the flour mixture until the pieces are the size of a pea. This can be done with knives or using a pastry cutter.
3. Add the buttermilk mixture slowly and mix just until the dough comes together. Wrap the dough in plastic and chill at least 1 hour before using.
Gluten-Free Savory Galettes
I recipe gluten-free pie dough (above)
1 cup ricotta cheese
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
2 medium tomatoes, sliced thin
2 small zucchini, sliced thin
1 large egg
2 tbsp water
Salt and pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Combine ricotta, thyme and salt and pepper in a bowl.
3. Mix garlic in with zucchini and tomatoes, tossing together until garlic is incorporated well.
4. Roll out pie dough and cut into 5 inch rounds. Re-roll dough until all the dough is used.
5. Place 3 tbsp of ricotta mixture in the center of the rounds. Layer veggies on rounds, leaving an inch border of dough on the outside of each. Season with salt and pepper.
6. Fold the edges up and on top of the vegetables, leaving the center exposed.
7. Whisk together egg and water in a separate bowl and brush with egg wash onto the crust, covering completely.
8. Bake for about 30-45 minutes or until vegetables are tender and the crust is golden brown.
9. Serve garnished with some fresh thyme and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Bon appetit!

Carrot 1/4 Cup
Pepper (green, red, yellow) 1/4 Cup
Garlic (chopped) 1 Tsp.
Mushrooms 1/4 Cup
Onions (chopped) 1/4 cup
Salt Pinch
Pepper powder 1/4 Tsp.
Paneer (grated) 100 Grams
Butter 1/2 Tsp.
Directions — Method:

1. Heat a non stick pan and add chopped garlic sauté the garlic with out oil then add chopped carrot, mushrooms, green, red and yellow bell peppers and chopped onions, chopped parsley, sauté it.
2. And add pinch of salt, pepper powder, mix it well and add grated paneer sauté it and transfer in to a plate.
3. In a small bowl add two eggs beat it nicely and add pinch of salt, pepper powder mix it well.
4. Heat a pan add 1/2 tsp. of butter then pour the egg mixture cook it for one minute then put the vegetable mixture on the top of the omelette then flood it and serve it hot.

3 Tbs olive or grape seed oil
4 Tbs fresh squeeze lemon juice
2 Tbs apple cider vinegar
1 Tbs lemon zest
3 minced garlic cloves
½ Tsp kosher salt
¼ Tsp ground pepper
1 – 15 ounce can garbanzo beans rinsed and drained
½ cup grape tomatoes, halved
½ cucumber, seeded and chopped
½ red bell pepper, chopped
¼ cup onion, chopped
⅓ cup packed fresh chopped mint leaves
Lynn demonstrates how to make your own Homemade White Cake Mix. This can be used instead of the boxed mix you find at the grocery store. Keep it in a jar, airtight container, or Ziploc bag in your pantry and whenever you need a white cake mix, you will be ready with this healthier version. This will keep for about 3 months in the pantry.
2-3/4 cups all purpose flour
1-3/4 cups super fine sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
¾ teaspoon salt
When ready to make the cake:
Grease and flour 2 – 8” round cake pans. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350°.
¾ cup softened butter
5 egg whites
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
½ teaspoon almond extract
Beat butter until fluffy, about 30 seconds. Add cake mix and bea for 1-2 minutes, on medium-high speed. Add egg whites, one at a time, until mixed. Add milk, vanilla and almond extract.
Pour into prepared pans and bake for 20-30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
*If you prefer to make cupcakes or a 9×13” cake, adjust cooking time accordingly until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool in pans for a few minutes and then turn out and cool on a cooling rack until completely cooled. Ice or frost as desired.

This eggplant parmesan recipe is super simple, and super delicious. this is a meatless eggplant parmesan recipe, so it is a great dish for vegetarians. If you haven’t tried this, give it a shot. I really like this more than lasagna.
This recipe may also be referred to as: Eggplant Parm, Eggplant Parmigiana. Whatever name you want to call it, just know that it’s very good.

Bake bread in the slow cooker! Now you can make no knead bread without a dutch oven and heating up your kitchen. Our slow cooker no knead bread recipe makes for an easy bread recipe. For this video, we are using our Oatmeal Whole Wheat Bread Recipe, but the method will work for any no knead bread recipe.
The baking time will vary depending on your slow cooker. In my crock pot, its 1 hour and 20 minutes to bake bread. Its best to use a digital thermometer to be sure its fully baked. For me, about 200F is when the bread is baked.

Beef Stew with Butternut Squash – Paleo Diet Recipe
During the winter months, I crave hardy foods. The sweet aroma of this stew along with the fresh vegetables topped the butternut favor of the squash combines for a delicious stew that we sooth your cravings for hardy foods.
Ingredients
2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 lbs. Chuck Steak, Cubed
1 Medium Yellow Onion, Chopped
3 Garlic Cloves, minced
4 Carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
4 Celery Stalks, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 Butternut Squash, peeled, seeded, and cut into 1-inch cubes
2 cups Chicken Broth
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. Dried Rosemary
1 tsp. Dried Oregano
Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste
Heat Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a large skillet and add meat until brown. Remove meat from skillet and sauté Onion and Garlic for 5 minutes. Add Carrots, Celery, and Squash then sauté for another 5 minutes. Add meat back to pan along with Chicken Broth, bay leaf, Rosemary, and Oregano. Bring to a boil then cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with Black Pepper to taste and serve.
