Lamb With Lentils
Food Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil 1/2 pound stewing lamb, cut into bite-size pieces 1 small onion, chopped 2 clv garlic, chopped 1 couple of fresh sage, leaves, chopped or 1/2 tsp dried sage 3 tomato, chopped salt pepper 1 19 oz tin brown lentils, drained, and, rinsed 2 cups water
Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat your oven to 375F.Heat an ovenproof pot over medium-high heat, add the oil. 2 Dust the lamb with flour, salt & pepper. Cook the lamb for 3 minutes, until it is browned on all sides. 3 Add the remaining ingredients to the pot, stir it all together and put it in the oven. 4 Let it cook, covered for 30 minutes, or until the lamb is tender and the lentils have absorbed most of the water.
