Italian Dressing Mix
Food Ingredients:
1 teaspoon carrot, grated and chopped 1 teaspoon bell pepper, finely minced 3/4 tsp lemon pepper 1/8 tsp dried parsley Kosher salt and black pepper to taste 1/4 tsp garlic, crushed 1/8 tsp onion powder 2 tsps sugar pinch ground oregano 1/4 cup red wine vinegar 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3 tablespoons water
Recipe preparation:
1 Place the carrot and bell pepper on a baking pan in the oven, set on 250 degrees for 45-60 minutes, or until all of the small pieces are completely dry, but not browned. 2 Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl. Mix can be stored in a sealed container indefinitely until needed. 3 When ready to use, pour vinegar into a cruet or jar. Add water, then the dressing mix. Seal and shake vigorously. Add olive oil and shake until well-blended.
