Indian Cabbage
Food Ingredients:
1/2 ounce Butter 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil 1 medium Onion, sliced 1 (1-inch) piece fresh root ginger, peeled and grated 1 1/2 pounds Green cabbage, shredded 1 teaspoon Ground turmeric 1 teaspoon Salt 1/2 teaspoon Paprika 1 tablespoon Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Garam masala Natural yoghurt for serving, (optional)
Recipe preparation:
1 Heat a wok or large frying pan until hot, add the butter, oil and the onion and stir fry for 1 minute over high heat, stirring all the time. Add the ginger and continue cooking for a further 1 minute. Add the cabbage with the turmeric, salt and paprika and stir fry for 2 minutes, stirring all the time. 2 Stir in the lemon juice and the garam masala and serve immediately.
