    Hi Lester,
This recipe and method is something I was looking for. Thank you so much.
I get a very good rise the first time, that is after the sponge iteration.
However, when I push the dough (after de-gas) into the loaf tin, the dough
rises barely and gives me a hard brick. Am unsure where its going wrong.
    Could you help please?

Thank you so much for this wonderful video! I’ve been trying to make buns
and pretzels with the instant dry yeast. They tasted horrible (had a really
weird smell) so I had to throw away everything. I bought another active dry
yeast to give it one more try. My bread tastes and smells incredible!!!
It’s just like store-bought and I know why other people are all happy with
this recipe. It’s even the healthiest bread I’ve made / seen.
For my bread, I used the water at room temperature so it took an hour for
the first rise (they didn’t start rising until like 40 minutes passed so I
almost gave up). After the first rise, second and third rises were quite
fast and the rising time matched your instruction.

Nice presentation. Maybe, I too can make bread.

Made this recipe yesterday(3 Oct 2014) and this was the most like store
bought for consistency of any loaf I”ve ever made. A bit more work than
most others but definitely worth the time.Very good flavor. TY

I am 10 years old. We followed your video and we made two beautiful loafs
of your bread. Thanks!!! We also ground our own wheat, and I ground two
    cups.

I’ve been looking into making my own wheat bread and this is exactly what I
needed! Easy to follow instructions and a great tutorial, thank you!! 😀

Would I need to do anything different if I wanted to add in some grains,
like quinoa or millet, or maybe some seeds?

Love the simplicity of this recipe and big thumbs up for it being vegan! :)

Hi I am going to try my hand at making this bread, I have never made bread
before but I am love the idea of knowing what I put into the bread.

This is the best ww bread recipe and I have been making it since August.
But during the last month the bread comes out dense and gummy and it hardly
rises in the oven. Sometime it is only the outer thin crust that rises
like a bubble but underneath is like dough. I didn’t change anything in the
recipe, I use good quality yeast and flour, and I handle the dough
carefully so that I won’t overknead it or stretch it too much. Nevertheless
it tastes very well. What could have gone wrong?

This recipe is great! The bread rose well & everything but when I cut the
bread, it’s so soft on the inside that it breaks 🙁 any suggestions?

Just found out that bromine is horrible for your thyroid and it is in our
bread and baked goods. My kids are so picky, I hope they like this bread.

  15. Natalia Coronel

Well, the bread doesn’t fall apart but it cuts dementedly because of how
soft it is even after cooling down

In a pinch, could I use beef jerky curing powder in place of the yeast? Its
cold out and don’t want to go the store for yeast.

    made me sad…
