How to make MASOUB – banana and bread breakfast recipe
This is an extremely popular and traditional dish in Saudi Arabia especially in the western part of Saudi Arabia .. It’s origonally a Yemani dish …. and popular as well
It’s basically a banana and Paratha (an Indian fried bread – each loaf is about 60g in weight) which you can find it in any middle eastern or indian grocery around you .. I did find it easily in Vancouver, BC …
Recipe for 1 person:
3 bananas (medium sized)
4 parathas (http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/843/20111107210630.jpg/)
Optional additives : ghee, melted butter, honey, evaporated milk, or sugar ….. you can add one of them NOT ALL together
This is the basic authentic recipe … There are different recipes that I might do videos on at some point in future.
If you have an Electric Meat Grinder it will be better to use it for the sake of speed and the ease of the job + it would be more hygienic 🙂 …. any way I have clean hands 🙂
Thanks for your time
