Now you can make tasty rib eye steak and spinach gratin at home using the recipe from the experts at Tom Colicchio’s famous Craftsteak chain. In this video James Lynn, Craftsteak Foxwoods Chef shows you how to make rib eye steak and spinach gratin.

To make rib eye steaks, place a steak on a plate and season it with salt and pepper. Arrange the steak in a preheated grill pan and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn the steak over and add butter and thyme sprigs. Use a generous quantity of butter so that it melts over the steaks.
Cook for 5 minutes more or until done to your liking. Cut the cooked rib eye steak into small pieces and garnish to suit your taste.

In the second half of the video, Chef Lynn shares with us the recipe for making spinach gratin. To make spinach gratin, cook the spinach in a little oil, stirring occasionally, until just wilted. Transfer to a colander and drain, pressing out any excess water with the back of a spoon.

Mix the spinach with some béchamel sauce and cheese and season with salt white pepper. Transfer to the prepared gratin dish and top with toasted bread crumbs mixed with butter and cheese. Bake until the gratin is golden brown on top, for about 10 minutes. Garnish with the thyme leaves and serve.

yeah i have to be honest, im all for simple prep in food especially waygu

Oh my god, why waste your money at Craft Steak when you can prepare these
dishes at home. I can find microwavable novelty foods that taste better
than Tom Collichio’s CRAPSTEAK! Tom goes by the saying, “Simplicity at its
best”, more like “Simplicity is the reason your food sucks because an
average joe is not going to pay $80 for a steak that he/she can cook at
    home”.
