We in India haves much simpler recipe. We first remove the husk, then wash the corn in normal water, then roast it over charcoal, once cooked evenly, slice the lime in half, dip it in a salt and chilly dry mixture and then vigorously run the lime on the cob. And enjoy. That is a roadside dish, called Makai Ki Bhutti. Extremely tasty!

My hubbz and I LOVE this butter recipe. We ate grilled corn weekly throughout the Summer. I tweaked the recipe with these few changes. In addition to your ingredients I added => smoked Chipotle chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, crushed pepper flakes, white sugar. After spreading it on the grilled corn, I sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese. Sweet-Salty-Smoky-Spicy perfection. Mmmmm GOOD! :)

Bypass all the wuss that this idiot is teaching. Pull back ALL husk, put the damn corn on stove where all the "hairy strings" will get burnt off.Rotate a few minutes , eat it like that, or if you are gay or sissy put mayo or butter on it.
