How to cook Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta (Spicy Oriental Chicken Pasta)

I’ve always loved Charlie Chan Chicken Pasta of Yellow Cab Pizza and Co. Ever since I’ve tried one, its spicy almost Thai flavored oriental pasta has haunted me. I’ve scoured the Internet for this recipe and finally, here’s my own version of it. I think this is the first ever instructional video about how to cook one.

For those who don’t know, Yellow Cab Pizza and Co. Is a restaurant that serves New York inspired pizza, pasta and the likes.

I’ve cooked this kind of pasta about two times during the holidays and I’ve got excellent feedback from my friends. They have been asking me for the recipe so I thought that if my friends liked it that much then maybe it’s worth sharing to all.

Ingredients:
Half a kilo spaghetti cooked according to package instructions
Half a cup unsalted butter
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 medium sized onion roughly chopped
1 whole chicken breast cut into strips seasoned with salt and pepper
9 Tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 1/2 Tbsp Char Siu sauce
1 Tsp Chilli Garlic Sauce
4 Tbsp Sesame Oil
3 Tbsp water
Hot Chilli Flakes
Peanuts(optional)

This recipe serves 4 to 6 people.
Total preparation time is about 30mins to 40mins.

Oh thanks man! I tried your recipe for dinner awhile ago! And it turned out
great! Even i haven’t have any green onions and some char siu. I substitute
some Filipino barbeque sauce with a teaspoon of peanut butter for the char
siu! Thanks for the making the video!
