  2. 50hellkat2

I sometimes put the chicken under the broiler to crisp up the skin.

Boiled chicken and burnt pepper in an acid+aluminium broth, what’s not to
    like? ;p

  7. Joanna Anderson

You think you are a chef but you use an aluminum pressure cooker and squirt
lemon in it. That will react with the aluminum and give the food a nice
    metal flavor.

wow! I didn’t that my press. cooker worked for this as well. Thx.

  9. Opi07

this is a great recipe and will be doing this, I was just wondering if
you’re supposed to truss the chicken or it doesn’t matter in the pressure
    cooker

  10. Michael Toub

I wish he mentioned how heavy the chicken was

    Tagine!

  12. Duke Louver

looks like the salt and herbs all fell off onto the plate at the
beginning…why don’t you do that in the pot??

  13. Bruce Kersman

When will you show how to do this with a DIGITAL PRESSUE COOKER?? This is
great if you still have an “old timey”
pressure cooker.. No offense but, I look for digital and fast means of
    cooking anything!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

    DELICIOUS!!

  16. Duke Louver

the recipe I use for pressure cooking old (9 mos.) roosters say after
browning to put on a rack then add liquids…beer makes for a tasty
    rooster!

  17. Jan Coldwater

    Looks delicious!

I have the Vitaquick which is great but steaming chicken will never ever
    match roasting chicken

  19. romance698

For a stove top pressure cooker like Presto, it only takes 15 min. to
pressure roast a whole chicken, regardless of size. Then, you let the
pressure release by itself and that is all. I have 4 Presto pressure
cookers that I do not use anymore because I have a Cuisinart Electric
Pressure Cooker and it makes the most delicious roasted Chicken in only 22
minutes. Just set it and forget it. The stove tops pressure cookers you
have to babysit them all the time. The Cuisinart Electric pressure cooker
you just set it and that it is all. It knows how to cook that chicken to
perfection with no sitting to watch it while is cooking. NO MORE STOVE TOP
    PRESSURE COOKERS FOR ME.

the manual says not to use alcohol

  21. wenfei911

Mine came out bland and with a very strong taste of wine. I may cut the
wine in half and add chicken stock instead. It’s a great recipe to build
    on.

    Looks good :o)
