Griffin’s Best Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Food Ingredients:
2 cups butter 4 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 cups granulated sugar 2 cups brown sugar 5 cups blended oatmeal (measure oatmeal and blend in blender to a fine powder) 24 ounces chocolate chips 1 teaspoon salt 8 ounces Hershey bar (grated) [optional] 4 eggs 2 teaspoons baking powder 3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) [optional] 2 teaspoons vanilla

Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2 Cream the butter and both sugars. 3 Add eggs and vanilla; 4 Mix together flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. 5 Combine flour mixture to wet ingredients slowly. 6 Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar and nuts. 7 Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. 8 Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
