I love Gordon BUT …. Olive Oil? Really?! For a dish inspired by Asian
street food? Vegetable or Peanut oil would have been more appropriate

No offense to anyone who like this dish. Anyone really tried it? I am Asian
and I eat fry noodle since I was young. Just by looking at the ingredients
and the way it is cooked, I know it taste awful…

I’ve always wanted to buy a good nonstick pan that can stand stir-fry
temperatures and is somewhat scratch-resistant just like the one that he
uses in the video. What kind of material/pan should I be looking for?
    Thanks.

He never said anything about asian stir fry… its his interpretation. get
    over it.

  13. Dijon Amarillo

That is not how you stir fry. You always fry the aromatics first to flavor
the oil. Also, where is ginger, where is the green onions?

Rice noodles are as good as, or better than pasta. I hate though that my
grocery store has rows and rows of pasta, but only a couple bags of rice
noodles at most, tucked way away in the asian section. And usually out of
    stock.

never cook with olive oil while making a stir fry it will flame
    up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! use Canola
    oil!!!!!!
however u can use olive oil but u would need to set it at meduim you wont
be cooking at that hi temp u need for stir fry. canola oil is the best to
cook with at the temp u want to cook for stir fry.
