Ginger-Infused Maple Cream Sauce
Food Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups (350 ml) heavy cream 5 tablespoons (75 ml) maple syrup 3 tablespoons (45 ml) corn syrup (you can also use Golden Syrup) 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
Recipe preparation:
1 Put all ingredients in a heavy saucepan and heat on medium until reduced by about one-third. Sauce will be thicker but still a bit runny. 2 Strain the sauce to remove the ginger 3 Put sauce in the fridge to cool (it will thicken up a lot) before reheating to serve.
