  1. Cooking with Dog

This Japanese-inspired French Toast is topped with nutritious Kinako,
roasted soybean flour and lots of Okinawan Kuromitsu, black sugar syrup! We
recommend soaking the bread with the custard mixture for no more than 10
minutes to give the inside a gooey texture. If soaked too long, the inside
becomes soggy. The combination of the crispy outside and the gooey inside
makes the French toast very delicious! (≧∇≦)/

I always found the name “french toast” really strange and almost irrelevant.
I’m french, we called it “Pain perdu” whichs stands for “lost bread”
Why did it become “french toast” in english ? o_O
Do you call Antipasti, Italian toast ?
    and tapas, spanish toasts ?
you see where i’m going lol !
it’s just weird ! this receipe exists in a lot of others countries with
different names that aren’t a direct translation or assuming it’s from
France, i found it strange that it was named “french toast” and not just
    “golden toast” or “custard toast”
    Translations are funny sometimes !

Is it ok that I think if the dog as the owner of the channel and credit him
for all the recipes instead of the lady that actually cooks? .__.
