Four-Cheese Pasta
Food Ingredients:
pound pasta cooked & drained olive oil 1 medium onion chopped 2 cloves garlic chopped 1 can crushed tomatoes (28-oz) 1 teaspoon basil teaspoon dried oregano 1 ct Ricotta cheese (15-oz) pound Mozzarella cheese grated 6 slcs Swiss cheese 6 slcs Provolone cheese
Recipe preparation:
1 In a large skillet, saute onions in a bit of olive oil. Add garlic and cook just until you smell the garlic; quickly add in crushed tomatoes. Stir in basil and oregano, cover and simmer on medium-high heat for 5 minutes. 2 Cover bottom of 9×13″ dish with tomato mixture. Layer in this order: 1/3 pasta, all the Ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese, sauce, pasta, Swiss cheese, pasta and the remainder of the sauce. Top with Provolone cheese. Cover and bake at 400i for 20-30 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
