Gordon Ramsay..you inspired me to try and cook…and every time i try i
mess up big time, even though the instructions are clear..i just fuck it up.
i tried this meal and if u saw the result..you would start a TV show just
cursing me every episode and telling me how RAAAW and disgusting it is.

it’s good to see Ramsey not shouting his head off once in a while.

I gotta say, watching Gordon Ramsay cook compared to cooking shows in the
U.S., each time he’s cooking, it’s kind of relaxing.

It needs some chopped and toasted cashews or peanuts and some chili paste.

If you want to take this dish to the next level and amp up the flavor then
mix together a little sauce out of the following:

Soy Sauce, Ginger, Hoisin Sauce, Thai Chili Paste, Fish Sauce, Rice Wine
    Vinegar

Eyeball the amounts, soy sauce is the base so a little more of that. Peel
the ginger (fresh ginger is a must) and grate it into the sauce. Don’t go
too crazy with the Thai Chili Paste, Rice Wine Vinegar, and Fish Sauce. You
really don’t need a whole lot of the sauce anyway, just enough to stain the
    chicken/broccoli.

Then, crush peanuts and sprinkle over the top. I also like to add green
onion/scallions. DON’T COOK THESE TOO MUCH. You want the scallions to have
a bit of a crisp, fresh crunch.

This is a great base recipe that you can add more to when you’re
    comfortable.

OH GOD WHY DID HE USE A METAL WHISK ON A NONSTICK PAN

    1) you don’t use olive oil in oriental cooking, 2) you don’t scrape the
hell out of your teflon or ceramic pans with metal utensils, it ruins them
very quickly, 3) if your cooking knowledge was as big as your inflated
attitude, you might amount to something. I quit watching your shows years
ago because it’s always the same crap, ego-ego-ego, smarty ass
    mouth-mouth-mouth.

Don’t use metal utensils on Teflon pans, Ramsey, you fucking amateur!

I feel like Gordon is a bit lazy on this one, ’cause the seasoning,
garnish, and the way the Egg was cooked was lack luster. About the
seasoning, please at least add some sugar, or may be even some ginger
paste, in addition to the soy sauce. As for the garnish, where are the
green onions? And does he forget to put some cooking wine at the end to
    kick the dish up a notch? Moreover, I would’ve add the egg at the very end;
push the noodle and chicken aside and make a hole in the middle, than,
quickly stir fried it and incorporate the whole thing quickly. The way
Gordon make the egg, to me, over cooked it… Oh well, it is a good quick
and simple dish that everybody enjoys

Okay I have two questions here, that pop up every time I see him cook:
1.) For pepper as well as for garlic I learnt that one should not exposte
them to greater amount of heat or else both of them will turn bad and give
the dish a very bad aroma. However that’s exactly what he does. Does this
mean I learnt crap or is he doing it ‘wrong’?
2.) He is using olive oil in this dish and recommends to put the pan really
hot. I learnt not to use olive oil when you cook with higher temperatures
(okay I do know there is some special olive oil which will allow higher
temperatures however that one is very mediocre in taste and therefore
counteracts the reason why one would use olive oil in the first place).

It looks good but I swear this thing just taste like a regular mildly
    seasoned stir-fry. Nothing special.

HEY HEY DUDE WHAT THE FCK ARE YOU DOUNG WITH THAT TEFLON PAN? YOU ARE
KILLING IT WITH THOSE IRON TOOLS, STOP IT.

  14. Daniel Tanner

Looks delicious but to me, it’s screaming out for some sesame oil and
finely ground peanuts. I just got so hungry from this video.

Please don’t take this the wrong way (I’m learning and drooling) but the
way he is scratching around with metal utensils in a non stick frying pan
is surly adding a lot of Teflon to the dish?!? Or are the cast iron ?? Let
    me know
