Eat Soup and Stay Slim this season. Here are 3 of my favourite Healthy Soup Recipes to keep you warm and satisfied over the winter period.
All these recipes are packed full of ingredients which are good for your body. Soups can be low in calories, yet they keep you full for a long time.
Try them as your main meal, snack or even as a starter. Having soup prior to a meal has been proven to prevent you from overeating later on.
Tips:
– Buy Goji Berries from Oriental supermarkets instead of ‘health stores’. They will cost a lot less!
– If you are a vegetarian or vegan, you can change the chicken stocks to vegetable stocks and omit any meat in the recipe.
– Zucchini is also known as Courgette or Japanese Cucumber in Asia.
– You can choose to make your own chicken stock or buy chicken stock cube that does not contain MSG or high sodium level (check the food label)!
So be wise and make the right choices for your body and your healthy this season. Choose to indulge in Soups! =D

i remember back in high school, i had soup and salad for lunch everyday for
2 months, walked to and from school (about 1.5 miles to 2 miles a day PLUS
walking to and from classes) and drank a ton of water and i dropped 20 lbs!
it’s been 4 years, and i really need to get into the habit of eating soups
and salads everyday like i used to! i am definitely going to try all three
of these soups during the weekend, they look so good and healthy. Thank

wondering if you could make more recipes for hot foods. Recipes for a slow

Hi Joanna, is homemade chicken soup good for weigh loss? I made some today
with a whole chicken, veggies and peal barley but I was wondering if it can
make me fat…I tried to skim off the fat as much as I could but there is
still some left. So do you think it is still healthy? thanks! (btw I made
your chunky veggie barley soup and it is delicious)

Hey Joanna, what type of bread would you say is best for weight loss (eg:
rye, whole-grain, multi-grain, pumpernickel, etc) ?
any substitute for zucchini? cucumber may be? we don’t get zucchini here :(
Hi Joanna, by using chicken stocks is it similar to high intake of salt
since it gives taste to food?? Im guilty of eating too much salty food so
would like to reduce/find alternative but still have a bit of salty taste
to my food as cutting it totally out would most probably give my body a
shock lol…Pls advice thnx

I just discovered your videos yesterday, and I’m hooked. I’ve been taking
down notes as I’m planning to follow your info as a foundation for my
weight loss. This is inspiring as you provide long term tips instead of
shortcuts and w/o the body feeling deprived. I hope you can share a 7 day
complete mealplan with pre and post workout plan included. As I work in a
call center, it is a bit difficult for me how to and when to incorporate
the pre and post workout routine in the daily plan menu. Hope you can post
