Chicken Karahi
Food Ingredients:
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil 1 pound Boneless, skinless chicken thighs, diced into 1 ½ square inch pieces 4 tablespoons Plain yogurt 1 tablespoon Chopped ginger 1 tablespoon Garlic paste 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped into large chunks 1/2 cup onion, chopped into large chunks 1 teaspoon Red chili powder 1 tablespoon Coriander powder 4 ounces Water
Recipe preparation:
1 Rub the yogurt on chicken and leave it to refrigerate for about two hours. 2 Heat oil in a pan and add ginger and garlic. After 30 seconds, add pieces of onion, green pepper and the marinated chicken. Stir frequently until the chicken turns a little brown. 3 Now add coriander powder and red chili powder. Add salt to taste. Continue to stir almost constantly. 4 After 3 or 4 minutes add the water and let everything simmer gently. Simmer until thighs have cooked through.
