    A lot of people are surprised by the secret ingredients but I have been
    making a similar candy with a small piece of cooked potato lots of powdered
    sugar, vanila and peanut butter. You mash the potato in the powdered sugar
    until you get to the same stage as the patty. But here is where we do
    things differently, we roll it out as a large sheet and spread a thin layer
    of peanut butter. Roll it up like a jelly roll then cut in coin like
    slices. DELISH

    was semi-sweet chocolate, and the “white square thing” was shortening.
