*not baking related * I know of a lot of youtubers have names for their
fans, I think we should be called cupcakes addicts or just addicts

I was wondering if you could make Seattle Sea hawks cupcakes, cakes, or
cake pops. It doesn’t matter. The super bowl is coming up next week so
please come up with one soon. Please make it easy. My mom and I aren’t the
    best bakers.

I’ve been faced with this problem of sickening sweet icing for ages. I have
a feeling it might be because I use normal salted butter, but unsalted
butter is too expensive where I live. Can anyone give me any input?

I made frosting using this exact techique a couple days ago. It was the
smoothest (and most pipeable) frosting I have ever made. It piped the
prettiest rosettes and swirls on my cupcakes I’ve ever had. And it was
delicious!!! I did an extra half teaspoon of vanilla but that was just my
    preference.
Thanks so much for this awesome technique.

Love it! One question. I heard you can put heavy whipping cream in instead
of milk. Does that change anything?

Can I use margarine instead to butter and can i semi skimmed or dose it
have to be whole milk thanks

I followed (exactly) your recipe but it turned out so badly. I made a
birthday cake for my bf but the my buttercream was very grainy and TOO
sweet though I mixed it with a hand mixer and put sugar little by little.
I mixed it like hell but at the end the sugar can not be dissolved. This is
my first time making buttercream and I didnt know how to fix that, also i
didn’t have enough time to search more on this. I tasted it and i thought
it should be but everybody says my buttercream is so wrong. I’m so sad
right now 🙁 Now i know why, your recipe put way too much sugar, it should
be around 130-150g of sugar for 250g butter and more added milk (for the
    sugar to dissolve)
I’m so upset, my bf can only eat the cake inside and toss all the
buttercream away 🙁 I’m sorry, this is my bloody experience >.<

  20. Julie Potter

Could I use semi skimmed milk or does it need to be whole milk? Thanks x

  21. LadyStroopwafeltje

I made it yesterday and it still turned out a bit grainy. I used sifted
powdered sugar, really soft butter and followed the recipe. I tried to add
some milk but after a while it didn’t seem to help anymore. Do you have any
idea where it went wrong/ what I can do to make it better?

    Greets from the Netherlands!

  22. Jessica Kiat

With the icing sugar do u sift it and then measure it or measure it and
    then sift it?
