Broccoli with Chai-Pow-Yu – Asian Food Recipes

Recipe ingredients and directions:

1 can chia pow yu, drained

3 TBS of olive oil

1 TBS of sesame oil

1 TBS grated ginger

3 cloves mashed garlic

1 onion

3 med potatos (diced)

2 big handfuls broccoli flowerettes

1/2 red pepper (diced)

salt

pepper

1 TBS curry powder

2 TBS corn starch

1/2 water

Fry chia pow yu until golden brown. Set aside. In a separate

skillet heat olive oil, sesame oil, ginger and garlic.

Let cook for about 2 minutes then add onion, potatoes, broccoli,

red pepper and salt and pepper. Let cook for a minute then add

curry powder and the browned chai pow yu.

Cook until the vegetables are done. For a sauce, add cornstarch

mixed with water and cook for about 3 minutes on med heat.

Serve over rice.
