Beef Stew in the Slow Cooker

Hey Guys,

I am super excited about share this incredible easy and delicious dish. This is the perfect dish to throw on before leaving for work and it’ll be ready for you when you get home!!!

Ingredients
2 lbs Cubed Beef Stew meat
1/3 cup flour, I used an gluten free almond flour
1/2 teaspoon season salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
2 – 3 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
2 – 3 bay leaves
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 onion chopped
1(14 oz.) can beef broth
3 potatoes diced, or as much or little as you like
4 carrots, sliced
1 – 2 stalks of celery
1/2 cup red wine
1 package of beef stew seasoning for a slow cooker

Directions
Add the flour, season salt and black pepper into a large zip lock bag. Add meat and shake to cover meat with flour mixture. In a large skillet use 1-2 tablespoons of oil over medium high heat. Add onions and meat into the skillet. cook until meat is browned added all ingredients into the slow cooker. Cook in the slow cooker for 6-4 hours on high or 10-8 hours on low.

    My auld grandad used to make that in a big massive pot,it was so
    sweet,anyway one day he was down at the pub having a wee swally and he
    invited me back for a wee bowl of stew,but when we got home someone had
    broken into his hoose and shit in the pot,we had to throw half of it away

    Just so you know, Worcestershire sauce is pronounced “wiss-ter shire” I
    know this because I live in Worcester, MA …and you have the best beef
    stew recipe on YouTube. Nice thick broth, great for bread. All the other
    recipes looked too watery. Nice work :)

    I used McCormick’s sauce packet for the stew beef taste with carrots,
    potatoes, celery, and beef stew meat. The only difference was that i
    sautade the stew beef with pieces of a bell pepper and now the entire pot
    has the bell pepper flavor instead of the beef flavor! What do i need to do
    to get the gravy to get a beef flavor? Should i get beef consummate in the
    can, beef broth, or knor beef flavor? Please help. Thanks.
