    What ever you like 😉

  2. OnePotChefShow

Yes, you can add the potatoes to the stew. But you’ll need to make sure
they are chopped into bite-sized pieces, to ensure they cook evenly 😉

Hi David: What do you think of this idea? For people that are on a “tight
work schedule” but also want to use slow cooker recipes but aren’t
available to turn on the slow cooker at the appropriate time for dinner to
be ready after work. How about using a programable household lighting timer
to control the on/off switch for a slow cooker for when people are away
from home? I’m not an electrician but this may be a helpful suggestion for
your next topic on the “One Pot Chef.”

Great recipe mate, and for anyone who wants to make it a little thicker you
can add a little flour AFTER its ready and stir until thickened.. +1 matey

As long as the carrots are not sliced too thick, they cook perfectly. As
for bourbon, I used a 5 year aged variety, and it was ASTONISHING!!! Thanks
    for watching 🙂

I’m about 3 hours into cooking this and it smells so good!! The liquor
stores in my part of the US are closed on sundays so I used what I had
on-hand, Brandy. I tasted the broth and it tastes amazing. Surprisingly
slightly sweet (probably the brandy). I also added leeks to it. Can’t wait
for dinner time. Thank you for the recipe! Subscribed!

A slow cooker works by cooking food slowly at a low temperature. A Pressure
Cooker is different, so can’t be substituted. You can make this recipe in a
standard oven or stove top, simply brown the meat first, then cook for
about 1-2 hours (oven) or simmer for about 1 hour (stove top – on a low
    burner)

How would you make this a per-preped/made meal? I do a lot of freezer
meals. I would love to make one and prep one for the freezer. How would
you prep the potatoes to be in the freezer too. Thanks for sharing. Sounds
    good.

May I use a brandy instead of bourbon?
