Balsamic Vinegar/Soy Sauce Slow Cooker Rabbit Recipe

This is my favorite rabbit recipe, it can be used with an older rabbit where the meat is tougher. But a fryer works just fine too.

Balsamic/Soy Sauce Slow Cooker Rabbit

1/2 C. Broth (veggie, chicken, rabbit)
1/3 C. Soy Sauce ( I use Tamari sauce )
1/4 C. Olive or similar oil
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp. Balsamic Vinegar
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
2 T. Minced garlic or 3+ cloves

Mix and pour over rabbit. Drizzle top with 1/4 C. Honey. Slowcook for 4-5 hours depending on your cooker, until the meat falls off the bones. Rotate rabbit half way through cooking cycle, this allows the opposite side to simmer in the sauce.

Enjoy over rice or even noodles.

I only have low, high and warm on my slow cooker. I’ve made the recipe with
similar results on either high or low. It just depends on how much time you
allow before dinner. I think it’s fall off the bone tender and it’s better
using a low setting which should take near 6+ hours. But I have made it in
as little as 4 hours using a high setting. Hope that helps! :o)
