Apple Walnut Squares
Food Ingredients:
2 large apples, grated 1 1/2 cups quick cooking rolled oats 1/4 cup whole wheat flour 1/4 cup apple juice 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 2/3 cup chopped dried dates 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat oven to 180C degrees.Coat a 8×8″ baking dish with cooking spray. 2 Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Let stand for 15 minutes, so the oats and flour can absorb the apple juices. Bake for 30 minutes. 3 Cut into squares while still warm.
