Angie’s Banana Bread Cobbler
Food Ingredients:
1 cup flour 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 cups buttermilk 1 cup butter, melted 4 medium-size ripe bananas, sliced 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla whipped cream 2 eggs vanilla ice cream
Recipe preparation:
1 Preheat oven to 375°. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, just until blended; whisk in melted butter and buttermilk. Pour batter into a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish. Top with banana slices and chopped nuts 2 Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
