Aloo Palak is an Indian curry dish, widely found and popularly consumed main course gravy side dish. Chef Ruchi Bharani teaches how to make simple and easy to cook, quick home made potato spinach curry.
Ingredients:
1 Onion
4 Green Chillies
1 small pc. Ginger
1 tbsp Cashewnuts
1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
1 & 1/2 tbsp Butter
Tomato pulp
2 tbsp. yogurt
2 bunches Spinach (puree)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Salt
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/2 cup water
2 Potatoes (boiled)
Method:
– Grind onion, chilies, ginger, cashew nuts, cumin seed powder into a smooth paste.
– Heat butter in a pan, put the onion paste into it and saute it till its dry for atleast 4 – 5 mins.
– Add tomato pulp and mix well
– After about 2 mins add the churned yogurt and cook it well
– Add the spinach puree and mix well
– Add garam masala, salt, sugar, water to the mixture and cook it for about 2 mins
– Add the boiled potatoes and mix well and the dish is ready to be served.

This is a good reciepe.for making spinach paste ,just boil the spinach with
salt n sugar.its better to use only the leaves.
Here’s an idea, use jeera aloo potatoes for the potato. :)

Another good one but at last if finished with grated paneer on top might
give
some milky or creamy taste.but still it looks better with better
ingredients.
