My family has been cooking something like this for years, and I have to say
it works a lot better with chicken thighs rather than boneless breasts.
There is a more consistent chicken flavor in the rice (Which is by far the
best part), particularly under the chicken itself. Also, it works
beautifully if you throw in some broccoli and then add some cheese just
    before it finishes cooking.

Made this, half of the rice didn’t cook. You def need more water.

Thank you for the recipe 🙂 It was delish! I doubled the recipe and did one
can of cream of celery and one can of cream of mushroom. I skipped the
    onion, YUCK
I added broccoli and pieces of bacon in its place. YUMMO

I cooked it out of curiosity. It was OK. I would add a bit more water and
some veggies. Also it needs black pepper. Other than that, it was a quick
    easy meal.

I’m from India and we don’t get the “cream of celery or mushroom” thingie
    here.
Can we make d actual cream of mushroom soup and follow the same recipe?

    Cereal would be easier

Taste great but the rice never cooks correctly this way. Boil the rice
    before you bake it.
