Vegetarian Sausage
Food Ingredients:
1 cup textured vegetables protein, available in health food stores or 1 teaspoon thyme 1 teaspoon sage 1 teaspoon turmeric 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 cup boiling water 1/4 cup whole wheat flour 2 eggs Oil
Recipe preparation:
1 Mix together protein and spices. Pour boiling water over the mixture and allow stand about 5 minutes, until water is absorbed. Stir in flour and eggs. Heat the oil over medium heat in skillet. Shape the mixture into small pieces and brown on both sides. 12 patties.
