Tomato Juice
Food Ingredients:
Tomatoes Canning jars
Recipe preparation:
1 Select firm, ripe tomatoes. Wash, scald, peel and cut in fourths or smaller pieces. Simmer until softened. Stir occasionally to prevent scorching. Put through sieve fine enough to remove seeds. 2 Bring juice to boiling and pour immediately into clean jars, filling to within 1/4-inch of top of jar. Put on cap, screwing the band tight. Process in water bath for 10 minutes.
