Steamed Moroccan Chicken Recipe – CookingWithAlia – Episode 233

INGREDIENTS:
1.5 pounds (650 grams) Chicken
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
A pinch of saffron threads (optional)
The juice of 1 lemon
3 tablespoons of olive oil
4-5 garlic cloves (crushed)
1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro
Dijon Mustard + oliv oil for roasting
Small bouquet of cinlantro + lemon halves for stuffing the chicken

    I like the idea of steaming chicken instead of boiling it. I am going to
    try this very soon. Cilantro is not something I’ve used a lot in the past,
    but I think it would be good on chicken with ginger, turmeric, garlic,
    mustard, olive oil and lemon. That just sounds good to me. I just made
    and ate your guacamole for the second time and I love it.

    I’ve been steaming chicken for years and this recipe looks AMAZING(I keep
    all the ingredients on hand-less the saffron).You can throw some
    potatoes,carrots,celery,etc. in the water to cook with the chicken for a
    true one pot meal.Thanks for this video.
