This Slow Cooker Barbecued Beef is one of the most tender succulent beef recipes that will ever come out of your kitchen. The crock pot makes it easy to slowly braise the meat until it falls apart. Barbecued beef isn’t typically considered diet food but this recipe is much healthier than most. The lean beef makes this figure friendly but the sauce makes it delicious. We’ll be skipping the bottled BBQ sauce in favor of a homemade variety with more natural ingredients and a lot of hidden veggies. Grated apples carrots and onions, melt away and virtually disappear into a sauce that will eventually bathe the tender succulent beef to make this a meal that everyone is sure to love.

I’m using this recipe today!
7-10 hours huh
@annascraftytrends Worchestershire sauce has the same flavor profile as the
steak sauce but I’m not sure if it’s gluten free or not. I was thinking of
you when I made this. Deer would be great in this one if you have some in
the freezer.
It looks so delicious Anne!!
YUM!! What would you say to use in the place of A1 steak sauce?
@bilrts55 Aww Thanks, That’s the best comment I read all day.
You got that Southern thang going on with that BBQ beef Anne! In South
Carolina they put slaw on hot dawgs and BBQ Sanwiches! Yours reminds me of
the one’s I used to eat down south! I like your BBQ sauce!
A delicious crock pot recipe Anne! Love using ketchup in something like
this. Nice slaw topper!
@MrEZCooking Thanks Rich. But the BBQ they’re doing in the South is far
better than anything coming out of my crock pot. It was a really convenient
week night dinner though.
@TheSquishyMonster Thanks Angie. You can always skip the slow cooker and do
the same thing in a heavy bottomed pot if you’ll be home to keep an eye on
it.
@StoddartFamilyFarm Oh yeah that’s a perfect way to do it. Your method may
actually be my favorite of all.
275 in a roasting pan in the oven works well too.
