Sausage & Peppers

Food Ingredients:
3 pounds Italian sausage links (can be sweet or hot) 4 green peppers, cleaned and cut into large pieces 3 mediums yellow onions, peeled and quartered 1 28-ounce can crushed tomatoes salt and pepper dried parsley dried garlic flakes dried oregano

Recipe preparation:
1 Place sausage in a large baking pan. Pierce sausage and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for approximately 20 minutes, until firm. Add peppers and onions to the pan. Bake another 15 minutes. 2 Add tomatoes and season with a sprinkling of salt, pepper, parsley, garlic, and oregano. Bake 5-10 minutes more, then move to a crock pot to simmer for at least one hour before serving.
