Recipe ingredients and directions:
1-1/2 frozen bananas
1 cup milk (cow, almond, soy, rice, etc.)
1 to 2 tablespoons of sweetener (sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc.)
Flavoring
Put ingredients in blender and mix until well combined and frozen
bananas are finely chopped. If you like a thicker, colder shake,
use 2 frozen bananas.
For flavering, I generally use cocoa (or carob) powder (about 2
Tablespoons) or chocolate syrup. You might also try strawberries
(6-8?), peaches, vanilla, dates (dried might not work to well),
or whatever else you like. For a banana shake, you might leave
out the other flavorings and add the other 1/2 banana and a little
more liquid.
