    I can’t say much about the real way to shuck a oyster, it’s all about the
    technique. I think you know a lot about raw oysters. You have some great
    ideas about what can be done with this delight from the sea. Always know
    the bravest man in the world is the first man to eat and shuck an oyster.

    You know one thing for sure it’s not easy to shuck an oyster. I use this
    technique to shuck my Oysters, but I need to get better at it. thanks for

    Like I always said the bravest man that ever walked the Earth was the first
    person to eat a raw Oyster, and that’s what caveman did:)

    How you started to open the shell was right but as soon as you hear the
    “pop” sound pry the shell from that end just slightly and run the blade
    along the bottom of the top shell as you work your way down. If you pull
    too hard before the abductor muscle is severed you rip the animal apart
    compromising the appearence of the dish. Oysters need to look as appetizing
    as possible given the fact they’re kind of freaky looking anyway. After you
    free the oyster from the shell, flip it over to serve.

    My god you butchered those poor oysters while opening…Try to keep the
    animal intact while doing this folks, it presents better and tastes better.
    Sorry Bald Chef but damn!

    Mmm. I know Chincoteague oysters are pretty well known but I think the
    clams are the fattest, sweetest, juiciest (and kind of underrated) clams in
    the world! I’ve eaten them raw, steamed, dried and love them lightly
    steamed with cocktail sauce and lemon. Going to check your videos to see if
    you have any clam recipes! Thanks for this basic one. To me, the
    original, basic recipes shouldn’t be ignored!
