PINOY RECIPE - CHICKEN ADOBO RECIPE [STEW CHICKEN WITH SOY SAUCE]

In this video, you will learn how to cook chicken adobo recipe. It means stew chicken with soy sauce in English. This is a traditional food from the Philippines, that anyone can eat. It’s a very simple recipe to make as well. Try it yourself or with your family and friends.

Here are the ingredients

1 1/2 Kg. fresh chicken legs cut them into 4 pcs.
6 cloves of fresh chopped garlic
1 tsp. brown sugar ( this is optional if you want your chicken adobo a little bit sweet if not then
don’t put sugar
2 tbsp. soy sauce you can use any brand
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
5 pcs. bay leaves in philippines they called ” Laurel leaves ”
1 tbsp. canola oil
1/2 cup of water ( this is optional if you want your chicken adobo with a little bit of tasty sauce then put some water; but if you want it to be dry just don’t put water.

This recipe serve for 4-6 people and you can eat this adobo chicken with rice and Mango salad or Mango Salsa.

    I like this great basic recipe. Of course there are so many versions of
    adobo. I like to add a little oyster sauce at the end of cooking for
    presentation and taste. I would also recommend using what they call cloudy
    or palm vinegar which does not have the bite that cider vinegar has.
    Masarap. I learned about filipino cooking from now my ex wife. I say
    without boasting just a fact that my adobo tastes better then hers now.
