Peach-Blueberry Sauce

Food Ingredients:
1 cup Fresh peaches, sliced and divided 1 cup Fresh blueberries, divided 3/4 cup Sugar cup Water 1/8 teaspoon Ground nutmeg

Recipe preparation:
1 Preparation Time: 0:15 2 Combine 1/2 cup sliced fresh peaches, 1/2 cup fresh blueberries, and remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. 3 Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in remaining peaches and blueberries. Serve fruit sauce warm over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or pound cake. 4 Yield: 1-1/2 cups. 5 MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Combine 1/2 cup peaches, 1/2 cup blueberries, and remaining ingredients in a 2-quart glass bowl. Cover with heavy-duty plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once. Stir in reserved peaches and blueberries. Serve fruit sauce warm over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or pound cake.
